Code of Conduct : Mes Ateliers
This Code of Conduct outlines behaviour expectations for all campers at our indoor day camp. It aims to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can learn and play respectfully. Adherence to these guidelines helps ensure a memorable and secure experience for all participants.
1. Expected Behaviours
Campers are responsible for their choices and are expected to:

Treat others with respect, kindness, and honesty

Cooperate with staff and follow instructions promptly

Value diversity and include peers in activities

Care for camp property and personal belongings

Speak and act in ways that promote a positive atmosphere
2. Safety & Well-Being
To protect everyone’s health and safety, campers must:

Stay with assigned groups and seek permission before leaving any activity

Use materials and equipment as instructed by staff

Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately

Maintain personal space and refrain from physical roughness

Follow all emergency procedures and staff directions
3. Prohibited Behaviours
Any of the following actions may result in disciplinary measures:

Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of peers or staff

Verbal or physical aggression, including threats or fighting
-
Using profanity, lewd language, or discriminatory remarks

Vandalism, theft, or damaging camp property
-
Bringing weapons, tobacco, alcohol, or illegal substances
4. Consequences of Misconduct
In the event of a violation, the camp will take appropriate steps:

Staff will redirect the camper and review expectations.

A parent/guardian call will be made if behaviour persists.

Repeated or serious infractions may lead to temporary removal from activities.

Suspension or expulsion may occur for endangering others or extreme misconduct.

No refunds are issued for days missed due to behavioural dismissal.
5. Acknowledgment
I have reviewed this Code of Conduct with my child and understand the expectations and possible consequences. I agree to support the camp staff in enforcing these guidelines to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
